The need to generate proposals that contribute to a more fruitful dialogue between the various fields of art, humanities and social sciences, forms the primary incentive that gave rise to Kan Bacab, a cultural project that seeks to preserve and spread the sound tradition related to the Mesoamerican musical instruments.

Due to the nature that involves the conformation of the  group, their participation in various cultural and dissemination activities has been possible. His most outstanding works include the musicalization of documentaries, museum exhibitions and plays.
